gazetteer function not in pip installed pandas_dedupe python library

Question

I installed pandas_dedupe using pip but the gazetteer_dataframe function does not seem to be included even though its usage is mentioned in the library page. I tried to upgrade via pip but that did not solve the problem. I guess I could download the library and install it locally but that is not optimal since this will go in a package.
