I have an issue with the NTP time synchronization, the problem occur randomly and the time on the clients is completely wrong for 15 minutes, then on the next sync. it is correct. Noticed that the time on the client can have up to several month of difference (Time jump into the future).
An example (with a 3 month jump):
The system time has changed to ?2021?-?04?-?20T00:29:57.172376900Z from ?2021?-?01?-?10T16:44:02.800279000Z.
Some information to understand the situation:
- The main server is a linux one, it is synchronized with the Google NTP.
- I have several other client machines, some linux and some windows (2012/2016/2019). The problem occur only under Windows systems. (No problem with Linux)
- 15 minutes later, the "wrong" client is synchronized and the time is correctly reset
- The problem occur on several windows machine, but only one at a time
- The Windows machine use the "ntp peer mode"
