Is there any concept or tool that helps to manage data updates in DynamoDB?
The most common operations:
- insert default data (seeding);
- copy data from one table to another (create field);
- change field value;
- rename field;
- remove field.
For now, I write a script that does what I need and run it on deploy, but what I'd also like to have:
- history of changes;
- backups;
- rollback strategy.
I know that DynamoDB table is not supposed to have a solid structure, but I imagine changing the data is a pretty common scenario, what is the appropriate way to do it?
