Obtain the Connection from the DataSource bean.

You can access the dataSource by using Spring dependency injection to inject it into your bean, or by accessing ApplicationContext statically:

DataSource ds = (DataSource)ApplicationContextProvider.getApplicationContext().getBean("dataSource");
Connection c = ds.getConnection();
