c++ - Google Test Adaptor Hangs During Test Discovery

Question

I'm using Google Test Adaptor for VS2017 and after my solution builds I see that the test discovery launches my test.exe but it never exits. If I forcefully kill the test.exe all the tests are discovered successfully and I can run them without issue (no more hanging). I've done some searching around to no avail, is this a known issue or has anyone run into something similar to this and has a workaround?
