r - importFrom(somepkg, except=S3.method)?

Question

In a package NAMESPACE, if I'm importing a different package but want to exclude one or more functions, I can do

importFrom(somepkg, except=c(func1, func2))

How do I exclude an S3 method from said function? This fails

importFrom(somepkg, except=c(func1, S3method(func, POSIXt)))

with

Error in S3method("func", "POSIXt") : could not find function "S3method"
