I would like to create a custom shaped window in QML. The window should let mouse events pass through outside of the shape.
I tried many things.
QWindow
'ssetMask
function only blocks the mouse events, but it does not let the events pass through the window.QApplication
'sinstallEventFilter
which is rejecting the mouse button presses doesn't work either: it blocks the mouse events, but it does not let the events pass through the window:
if (event->type() == QEvent::MouseButtonPress)
{
event->ignore(); // deny mouse press events
return true;
}
Do you have other suggestions for how this could be achieved?
